Alex Mercer: It is Sunday evening, February 1st. I’m Alex Mercer, and this is the Prediction Market HQ Daily Sports Evening Edition. We are moving fast tonight because the board is shifting under our feet. Before we dive into the late-breaking value, we encourage you to jump into Kalshi, Polymarket, or your prediction market app of choice with us; as always, we will be using Polymarket’s data to track where the sharp money is moving. If you’re looking to place your bets before the night slate locks, you need to hear this Roll Call. Marcus, we had a heavy position on the Siena-Canisius game this morning. Let’s see how the P&L looks. Marcus Webb: Alex, it was a high-variance morning, but the conviction on the Saints paid off. Let’s go through the ledger. On the Siena Saints spread, we have a Win. Siena dominated the first half with a 27-5 run to secure a 78-63 victory. Justice Shoats was the engine with 22 points, covering that -8.5 morning spread with room to spare. Action: Win. Marcus Webb: On the Siena-Canisius Under 131.5, we took a Loss. We pivoted here in the morning, but the total landed at 141. While Siena’s defense held Canisius to 63, the Griffins' desperation led to 12 three-pointers, which pushed this way beyond the slow-paced grind we anticipated. Action: Loss. Marcus Webb: Regarding the Canisius +8.5 spread, that is a Loss. Our pivot didn't save us here as the Griffins struggled to find any scoring inside the arc, going 10-for-37. They failed to keep it within the margin despite a solid 18-point effort from Javante Edwards. Action: Loss. Marcus Webb: Now, the Siena-Canisius Over 131.5? That is a definitive Win. Our morning conviction held. The Over hit comfortably as Siena’s offense stayed hot at nearly 55 percent from the field. Total landed at 141, and we cashed that easily. Action: Win. Marcus Webb: Finally, the Canisius Moneyline. This was a Loss. The underdog thesis completely failed to materialize. Siena completed their first Western New York sweep in a decade, and Canisius has now spiraled into a 7-game losing streak. Action: Bail. Alex Mercer: Two and three on the morning, but the Siena conviction saved the units. Let’s look forward. We have three late adds hitting the markets right now, and the first involves a literal "emergency landing" for the San Antonio Spurs. Marcus, what are we seeing with the Magic and Spurs? Marcus Webb: This is a classic "fade the travel" spot. The Spurs' plane was forced into an emergency landing in Atlanta today after a bomb cyclone grounded them in Charlotte overnight. They didn't even get back to San Antonio until 3:25 PM. Tip-off has been moved back to 9:00 PM Eastern to compensate, but the fatigue is baked in. On top of that, Victor Wembanyama is questionable with calf soreness and Jeremy Sochan is officially out. We are taking **Orlando Magic +5.5**, currently trading at 59.5 cents. If you can still get this under 62 cents, you take it. Orlando’s length with Jonathan Isaac and Paolo Banchero should absolutely dominate a shorthanded, exhausted Spurs rotation. Alex Mercer: Next up, a massive Western Conference Finals preview. The Thunder are in Denver to face the Nuggets. OKC is trading at 58.5 cents for the -4.5 spread. Why is the sharp money moving toward the road team here? Marcus Webb: It’s the defensive "connective tissue," Alex. Aaron Gordon is officially OUT tonight. He is the primary defender for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is averaging 32 points a game. Without Gordon and with Christian Braun doubtful, Denver has no one to stay in front of SGA. Even with Jalen Williams missing for OKC, the Thunder lead the league in net margin. We like **Thunder -4.5**. If the line moves to -5.5, I’d still hold, but the value is right here at 58.5 cents. Alex Mercer: And finally, we’re heading to the Big Ten where Oregon is hosting Iowa at 8:00 PM Eastern. The Ducks are in a freefall, and the market price on Iowa is sitting at 82.5 cents. Is that too high to buy in? Marcus Webb: Not when you look at the trajectory. Oregon has lost seven straight and they are 1-and-9 in Big Ten play. They’ve lost four straight at home. Now, Devon Pryor has reaggravated a groin injury, thinning an already weak rotation. Iowa’s Bennett Stirtz is going to run circles around this defense. We are taking **Iowa Moneyline** at 82.5 cents. It’s a steep price, but Oregon’s total collapse is a signal we can't ignore. Alex Mercer: Let’s recap the Final Portfolio for tonight: 1. **Siena -8.5** (Win) 2. **Siena/Canisius Over 131.5** (Win) 3. **Orlando Magic +5.5** (9:00 PM ET start) 4. **OKC Thunder -4.5** (9:00 PM ET start) 5. **Iowa Moneyline** (8:00 PM ET start) Alex Mercer: Get your positions set now. The clock is ticking on those tip-offs.
