Alex Mercer: Welcome back. This is the Daily Sports Evening Edition for Saturday, February 7th, 2026. I’m Alex Mercer, and the board is moving fast. We are seeing major injury news out of the West and some heavy sharp action in the Big East. Before we dive into the data, we encourage you to jump into Kalshi, Polymarket, or your prediction market app of choice with us; as always, we will be using Polymarket’s data to track where the sharp money is moving. If you’re looking for the best odds on tonight’s slate, you need to be positioned now. Let’s get into it. Marcus Webb: It’s been a high-conviction day, Alex. We’ve seen some massive results already in the books, and the late-night slate is giving us a clear edge on volume-driven totals. We aren't just watching the games; we’re watching the markets react to the void left by some of the biggest superstars in the league. Alex Mercer: We’ll get to those late adds in a second, but first, let's run the roll call on our morning positions. Marcus, how is that Drexel/Elon position looking? Marcus Webb: That was a solid start to our Saturday. Drexel took care of business with an 82-77 win over Elon. They controlled the glass as expected, and that position is a full win in the books. Alex Mercer: What about the Wisconsin and Indiana matchup? That one looked like a battle. Marcus Webb: Absolute nail-biter. Indiana pulled it out 78-77 in overtime. If you were holding Indiana on the moneyline, you survived a late Badger surge. We’re marking that as a hard-fought win for the Hoosiers. Alex Mercer: Moving to the ACC—how did the Syracuse at Virginia play shake out? Marcus Webb: Total defensive masterclass by the Cavaliers. Virginia locked them down for a 72-59 victory. Syracuse just couldn't find air against that pack-line defense. Another decisive win for the portfolio. Alex Mercer: And Louisville heading into Wake Forest? Marcus Webb: The Cardinals stayed hot. Louisville handled the Demon Deacons 88-80. Their offensive efficiency is through the roof right now, and they covered the number comfortably. Alex Mercer: Finally, we stepped onto the pitch this morning for Manchester United and Tottenham. What’s the result there? Marcus Webb: Michael Carrick has this United squad humming. They took down Spurs 2-0. Bruno Fernandes was the difference-maker. That’s a clean sweep of the morning report, Alex. Five for five. Alex Mercer: Incredible. Let’s keep that momentum into the night. We have three late adds to the portfolio, and we have to start in Chicago. The Nuggets and Bulls are tipping off at 8:00 PM Eastern. We’re looking at the Over 228.5, currently trading at 62 cents. Marcus, why is the smart money hitting the high side here? Marcus Webb: Denver is the number two scoring offense in the league, averaging over 120 points per game, and they’re facing a Bulls team that has moved to the second-fastest pace in the NBA over their last five. But the real story is Denver’s defense—or lack thereof tonight. With Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson both ruled out, the Nuggets are missing their primary stoppers. Jamal Murray is coming off a 39-point night, and while Nikola Jokic is nursing a questionable ankle, all signs point to him playing. If you can get this under 230, take it. This has the makings of another 130-127 shootout like we saw earlier this year. Alex Mercer: Next up is the marquee Western Conference matchup: Warriors at Lakers. Tip-off is set for 8:30 PM Eastern. The market is trading the Under 227.5 at 65 cents. This total has been plummeting—is there still room to play it? Marcus Webb: There is, but you have to be careful with the entry point. This is a "void" play. Stephen Curry is out with that knee issue, and the Lakers just ruled out Luka Doncic with a hamstring strain. You’re taking the two primary engines of these offenses off the floor. On top of that, Golden State is missing Kristaps Porzingis. We saw the Warriors grind out a 101-97 win over Phoenix recently; they’re leaning into their top-10 defense right now. If the market is still giving you anything above 222, the Under is the play. Expect a slow, half-court struggle. Alex Mercer: Finally, we’re heading to Omaha for Seton Hall and Creighton. As we sit here now, this game has just tipped off at 6:00 PM Eastern. We are backing the Seton Hall Pirates as road underdogs, trading at 54 cents on the spread. Marcus, what’s the conviction here? Marcus Webb: Creighton is in a tailspin—three straight losses and eight consecutive failures to cover the spread. Meanwhile, Seton Hall has the number 12 defensive efficiency in the country and the reigning Big East Player of the Week in Budd Clark. The Pirates already beat the Bluejays back in January. At the time of recording, if you can still find Seton Hall at +1.5 or better, or if the game is close early, stay aggressive on the Pirates. Their defense is built to stifle a Creighton offense that’s only averaging 62 points during this losing streak. Alex Mercer: Let’s recap the final portfolio for the night. We are holding our five morning wins from Drexel, Indiana, Virginia, Louisville, and Manchester United. We are adding: 1. Nuggets/Bulls OVER 228.5 at 8:00 PM. 2. Warriors/Lakers UNDER 227.5 at 8:30 PM. 3. Seton Hall +1.5 against Creighton, which is live right now. Marcus Webb: The board is set. Watch those late-night totals in the NBA; the injury reports are doing the work for us today. Alex Mercer: That’s the Evening Edition. We'll see you back here tomorrow morning to see how the dust settled. Opinions expressed are for informational purposes only. Bet responsibly.
