Alex Mercer: Welcome to the Daily Sports Evening Edition for Tuesday, February 10th. The board is moving fast and we’re seeing some massive shifts in the odds as we head into the night slate. If you’re looking to get your bets in before tip-off, now is the time. We encourage you to jump into Kalshi, Polymarket or your prediction market app of choice with us; as always, we will be using Polymarket’s data to track where the sharp money is moving. Marcus, we had a massive early window—let’s see where the ledger stands before we add the night's heavy hitters. Marcus Webb: Alex, we are coming into the evening with a head of steam. We had a heavy morning focus on the early NBA results, and the data held firm across the board. Starting with the Detroit Pistons position—they just finalized a 110-104 victory over the Hornets. Cade Cunningham was the absolute engine there, dropping 33 points and nine boards. That is a clean Win to start our Tuesday. Alex Mercer: Great start. How is that Orlando Magic position looking? Marcus Webb: As we sit here now, that one is in the books as a blowout. Orlando dismantled the Bucks 118-99. Anthony Black was the standout with 26 points. Our model loved the Magic’s defensive length against a Milwaukee team that looked tired. That’s another Win for the portfolio. Alex Mercer: And the Thunder vs. Lakers? Marcus Webb: OKC snapped their two-game skid with a 119-110 win. Jalen Williams led the charge with 23 points. We saw the sharp money move toward the Thunder late this morning as the Lakers' injury report grew, and it paid off. Mark it as a Win. Alex Mercer: What about the Jazz in Miami? Marcus Webb: That was a nail-biter, but Utah held on for a 115-111 win. Jiren Jackson’s 22 points were just enough to counter a 26-point performance from Andrew Wiggins. It was a high-variance game, but the Jazz's rim protection held the line. That’s a Win. Alex Mercer: Finally, the Nets against Chicago? Marcus Webb: Brooklyn took care of business, 123 to 115. Nick Claxton was the story here—a massive double-double with 28 points and 10 rebounds. That completes a 5-0 clean sweep of the morning slate. We are playing with house money as we look at these late adds. Alex Mercer: Unbelievable morning, Marcus. Let’s keep that momentum. Our first late add for the night is in New York. We’re looking at the Pacers and Knicks, specifically the Over at 223.5. This is currently trading at 62 cents on Polymarket. What’s the read? Marcus Webb: This is our "Pace Clash" play of the night. The Knicks are on an offensive tear, fueled by Jalen Brunson’s 31-point outing against Boston and KAT’s dominant double-double streak. The Pacers are without Tyrese Haliburton, but they haven't slowed down. They still rank 29th in paint points allowed, and Andrew Nembhard is pushing the tempo. If you can still get this total under 225, it’s a high-conviction play. This game tips off at 7:30 PM Eastern at the Garden. Alex Mercer: Next up, we’re heading to Houston. The Rockets are -7.5 against the Clippers, trading at 58 cents. Why are we laying the points here? Marcus Webb: It’s all about the glass and the health of the rosters. Houston leads the league in rebounding, while the Clippers are nearly dead last. L.A. is also missing Darius Garland and Bradley Beal, and they’re trying to integrate trade acquisitions like Bennedict Mathurin into the rotation on the fly. With the Rockets boasting a 17-6 home record and Alperen Şengün coming off a triple-double, we expect them to overwhelm the Clippers' interior. Watch for an 8:00 PM Eastern start on this one. Alex Mercer: In the late window, we’re targeting a player prop. Devin Booker Over 21.5 points is trading at 68 cents for the Suns' matchup against the Mavericks. Marcus, this feels low for Booker. Marcus Webb: It’s a massive value gap. Booker only had 21 in his return game, but Grayson Allen is ruled out tonight, which vacates a huge chunk of shot volume. He’s facing a Mavericks defense that just traded away its primary rim protector. Booker has cleared this 21.5 mark in four of his last five active games. If this line moves to 23.5 before the 9:00 PM Eastern tip, I’d be more conservative, but at 21.5, it's a steal. Alex Mercer: Switching to the college ranks, we have a "Brand Tax" fade. Miami is hosting No. 11 North Carolina, and we’re taking Miami on the Moneyline, trading at 45 cents. Marcus Webb: UNC is in a classic letdown spot. They just had an emotional, last-second win over Duke 72 hours ago. Now they travel to the Watsco Center, where Miami is 12-2. The Tar Heels are thin in the frontcourt with James Brown and Ivan Matlekovic out. Miami’s Malik Reneau has four straight 20-point games and they need this for their tournament resume. This one starts early at 7:00 PM Eastern. Alex Mercer: Last one for the night: No. 3 Houston is a heavy favorite at -16.5 against Utah. This is trading at 72 cents. Is the spread too high? Marcus Webb: Not against this Utah team. The Utes are on a five-game skid and missing Jacob Patrick. Houston’s defense is 5th in the nation in turnover rate, and Utah’s backcourt just went 9-of-31 in their last game. Kingston Flemings and Chris Cenac Jr. are in peak form. Expect a 20-plus point margin. That’s a 9:00 PM Eastern tip. Alex Mercer: Let’s recap the final portfolio for the night. We have the Pacers-Knicks Over 223.5, Rockets -7.5, Devin Booker Over 21.5 points, Miami Hurricanes Moneyline, and Houston Cougars -16.5.
