Alex Mercer: Welcome back to Prediction Market HQ. It’s Wednesday evening, February 11th, and the board is moving fast. We’ve got major injury news and some massive line movement that’s changing the math on tonight’s bets. We encourage you to jump into Kalshi, Polymarket, or your prediction market app of choice with us; as always, we will be using Polymarket’s data to track where the sharp money is moving. We have a heavy slate tonight, so let’s get right into the Daily Sports Evening Edition. Marcus, the morning positions are under fire with some late-breaking scratches. Let’s do the re-verify. How is that Clippers and Rockets position looking? Marcus Webb: We are staying the course with a Hold on the Rockets. At the time of recording, the Rockets ML is trading at 74.5 cents. Darius Garland is officially out for the Clippers with that toe injury, which is huge. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun are confirmed active for Houston. The Clippers have no backcourt stability right now, so if you can still get the Rockets 1H spread under 45 cents, that is the target. Alex Mercer: What about the total in the Hawks and Hornets game? That one felt like a shootout this morning. Marcus Webb: That is a Double Down. The market has moved from 230.5 up to 232.5, and the sharp money is still hammering the Over, currently trading around 60 cents. Jalen Johnson and LaMelo Ball are both cleared. With the Southeast Division tiebreaker on the line, neither team is going to defend. This is a high-possession forecast, and we are backing the offensive fireworks. Alex Mercer: The Bucks and Magic line is getting massive. Are we still riding with Orlando? Marcus Webb: Absolutely, this is our second Double Down of the evening. Giannis is officially out through at least February 20th. Orlando is now a double-digit favorite, and the Magic ML is sitting at a steep 82 cents. But look, Orlando just blew them out by 19 points two days ago. Without Giannis, Milwaukee has no answer for Franz Wagner. If the line holds at -10.5, we like the Magic to cover comfortably. Alex Mercer: Moving to the Pacers and Nets—we were looking at a low total there. Does that still hold with Haliburton out? Marcus Webb: It’s a Hold. The total ticked up to 214.5, but the logic remains: Brooklyn’s defense is bottom-tier. Even without Tyrese Haliburton, the Nets have Michael Porter Jr. and Nic Claxton active. They have enough scoring punch to push this over a relatively low number. We’re holding the Over at 55 cents. Alex Mercer: Finally, the Pistons and Raptors. This one looks like a coin flip in the markets. What’s the move? Marcus Webb: We are holding the Raptors ML, currently trading at 50 cents. It’s a dead heat in the market, but the edge is the interior. Detroit is likely facing suspension fallout for Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart after Monday’s brawl. That leaves a massive void in the paint that Scottie Barnes is going to exploit. Stick with Toronto. Alex Mercer: Alright, those are the morning holds. But we’ve got some late-breaking plays that just hit the wire. Marcus, I’m seeing some serious value in Philadelphia and Phoenix. Where are we adding? Marcus Webb: First, we’re adding the Knicks on the moneyline at 58 cents against the 76ers. OG Anunoby is officially out, but the story here is Josh Hart. He had 11 rebounds last night, and with OG out, he’s going to see 40-plus minutes. We’re also eyeing Hart’s rebounding props. The 76ers are compromised inside with Joel Embiid listed as questionable with that knee. If Embiid sits, the Knicks will dominate the glass. Next, we are fading Devin Booker and the Suns against the Thunder. Booker is questionable on a back-to-back with ankle management, and he’s facing the league’s best defense. OKC leads the NBA in defensive efficiency and they’ve held Booker to 22.5 PPG this season. With SGA out for the Thunder, they’ll be even more focused on the defensive end. We’re taking the Under on Booker’s scoring at 62 cents. Finally, we have a mismatch in Cleveland. The Wizards are decimated—Anthony Davis and Trae Young are both out. The Cavs are undefeated in February and James Harden has completely unlocked Donovan Mitchell. Cleveland is a 17.5-point favorite, but even at 90 cents on the moneyline, they are a safe parlay piece. The Wizards defense is 29th in the league and they simply don't have the bodies to keep up. Alex Mercer: Okay, let’s recap the Final Portfolio for tonight. We are Holding the Rockets ML and 1H spread, and the Raptors ML. We are Doubling Down on the Hawks-Hornets Over and the Magic spread. Our Late Adds are the Knicks ML, the Under on Devin Booker’s points, and the Cavaliers to blow out the Wizards. Urgency is key here—the Hawks and Wizards both tip off at 7:00 PM Eastern, followed by the Knicks and 76ers at 7:30. The nightcap is the Thunder and Suns at 9:00 PM. Get your positions in before the lineups are locked. We’ll be back tomorrow for the Ledger Recap to see how the portfolio performed. Opinions expressed are for informational purposes only.
