Alex Mercer: It is Wednesday evening, March 18th. The board is moving, the sharp money is settling, and we are live with the Prediction Market HQ Daily Sports Evening Edition. I’m Alex Mercer, and we have a lot of ground to cover before the late-night tip-offs. If you’re looking to get your bets in or find the best odds on the closing line, we encourage you to jump into Kalshi, Polymarket, or your prediction market app of choice with us. As always, we will be using Polymarket’s data to track where the sharp money is moving. Let’s get into the Daily Sports Evening Edition. Marcus Webb: We’ve got a massive slate tonight, Alex. From the First Four in Dayton to a heavy NBA schedule, the liquidity is high and the conviction is even higher. Let’s look at where our morning positions stand before we add to the portfolio. Alex Mercer: Let’s do the roll call. First up, Marcus, the Warriors vs. Celtics game—we had a big position there this morning. How’s that Warriors position looking? Marcus Webb: As we sit here now, at the time of recording, the Celtics lead 23 to 14 with just under five minutes left in the first quarter. We’re seeing some early shooting variance, but our pre-game model still favors the Warriors' depth over the long haul. We are holding this position. If you can still find the Warriors at a discount mid-game, it’s a high-conviction hold. Alex Mercer: Copy that. How about the Thunder vs. Nets position? Marcus Webb: We haven't seen the tip-off for that one yet, and the market is still digesting the late shootaround news. We are officially in "Monitor" mode. No move yet; we’re waiting for the opening five-minute stint at 7:30 PM ET to see if the Thunder's defensive rotations are as sharp as they were on Tuesday. Alex Mercer: Understood. Moving to the Western Conference, how is the Clippers vs. Pelicans side looking? Marcus Webb: We are monitoring. There’s been some slight movement on the spread, but we’re holding steady until we see the official active roster confirmation. We’ll have more on the total for this game in a moment, but for the side, it's a wait-and-see for the 8:00 PM ET start. Alex Mercer: And the Lakers vs. Rockets—what’s the status on that position? Marcus Webb: Monitoring. The market is leaning slightly toward Houston at home, but we aren't ready to pull the trigger on a bail or a double-down yet. We’ll check the energy in the first quarter after the 9:30 PM ET tip before making a call. Alex Mercer: Finally, the Lehigh Mountain Hawks vs. Prairie View A&M Panthers. This is First Four action in Dayton. How are we playing the Mountain Hawks? Marcus Webb: This is a conviction hold. Lehigh is currently trading at 58 cents. As we sit here now, they are finishing up warmups. The sharp money has stayed consistent on the Mountain Hawks because of their significant edge at the free-throw line and veteran backcourt. If you can still get them at 60 cents or better before the 6:40 PM ET tip, we are holding that position. Alex Mercer: Alright, that’s the morning slate. Now, let’s get into the Late Breaking Plays. Marcus, you’ve got two new looks for the portfolio. Marcus Webb: First, back to the NBA. We are adding the Over 233.5 in Clippers vs. Pelicans, trading at 55 cents. With Darius Garland confirmed back for the Clippers, their offensive rating gets a massive boost. The Pelicans are 25th in scoring defense and give up significant points in the paint. We’re projecting a pace shift up to 102.5 possessions. Next, we are adding the Rockets -2.5 against the Lakers, currently trading at 62 cents. The Lakers are showing some fatigue on the tail end of this road trip, and Houston’s interior defense has been top-five over the last two weeks. If the line stays under 3, we like the Rockets to protect home court at 9:30 PM ET. Alex Mercer: Massive updates. Let’s lock the roster with the Master List. Here is the final portfolio for Wednesday, March 18th: 1. **Warriors vs. Celtics:** Hold. (7:00 PM ET start) 2. **Thunder vs. Nets:** Monitor. (7:30 PM ET start) 3. **Clippers vs. Pelicans:** Monitor Side / **Over 233.5** at 55 cents. (8:00 PM ET start) 4. **Lakers vs. Rockets:** **Rockets -2.5** at 62 cents. (9:30 PM ET start) 5. **Lehigh Mountain Hawks:** Hold at 58 cents vs. Prairie View A&M. (6:40 PM ET start) Marcus Webb: If you’re eyeing that Clippers over, move now—the market is starting to react to the Garland news. For the Lehigh and Rockets plays, you have a bit more runway, but don’t wait for the prices to climb into the 70s as we approach those start times. Alex Mercer: That’s it for the Evening Edition. We’ll be back tomorrow morning to see how the ledger settled. Opinions expressed are for informational purposes only. Bet responsibly.
